Clean Heat Forum Roundtable – Collectively Raising Ambition of Clean Heating Policy Solutions & Technology Deployment

Launched during COP26, the Clean Heat Forum is a program of UNEP’s Global Alliance for Building and Construction, co-led by the United Kingdom government and RMI, and convened with additional leadership from the European Heat Pump Association, Regulatory Assistance Progress, E3G, and other national and subnational governments leading the efforts to decarbonize the heating sector. With ten percent of global climate emissions tied directly to the heating sector, an urgent focus on rapid deployment of clean heating solutions is critical to the fight against global climate disruption. The Clean Heat forum’s roundtable will start with an update from CHF leaders and invite attendees to participate in critical conversations focused on best practices for accelerating policy and public engagement strategies that produce tangible and equitable clean heating solutions. Attendees that are not CHF members will be invited to join the GABC and CHF more formally.
