The COP27 Built Environment Guide
The #BuildingToCOP Coalition is working together to elevate the built environment as a critical sector to achieve the needed transition to a resilient and zero emissions future at COP27.
We will be sharing examples of action and implementation already taking place through a series of events, across the blue zone, green zone and beyond, including:
✔ Ministerial events, launches, commitments
✔ Supporting the High Level Climate Champions and Marrakech Partnership for Global Climate Action events related to the built environment
✔ Buildings Pavilion
✔ Other events at COP
✔ Announcements
✔ Action initiatives
✔ Communications campaign
Through the dedicated Buildings Pavilion, we will also be sharing content about how the built environment can support the delivery of the COP27 presidency themes (Download the COP27 Climate Action Calendar here), as a solutions provider that can be integrated and enable action across other sectors.

Where to find us on-site
The main venue for COP is known as the Blue Zone. Access requires official accreditation with UNFCCC. Events are being coordinated across pavilions at various spaces within the blue zone, in order to discuss issues, present challenges, and highlight sector progress.
The Buildings Pavilion is located within the delegation zone — come and say hi and catch some of the fantastic content being prepared!
The green zone is a short walk from the blue zone, and does not require UN accreditation. You can register for the green zone here.
There are also several exciting fringe events happening alongside COP, including Climate Action’s Sustainable Innovation Forum in the Innovation Zone, and the World Climate Summit at the Park Regency, Sharm el-Sheikh.
