General information about the Climate Action Hub

As has now been customary since the 2018 Katowice climate conference (COP24), the COP27 Presidency will build the Action Hub Amphitheatre directly within the main venue at the UN Climate Change conference to be held from 6 November until 18 November in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.

The UN Climate Change secretariat is responsible for organising the programme of events to be delivered at the Action Hub.

What is the Climate Action Hub?

It is at the core of the Action Hub to hold events that are markedly different from other traditional meetings held at the conference, in both format and content, and provide a central scene that is inclusive, participatory and transparent to non-Party Stakeholders.

How to hold an event at the Action Hub?

Holding an event at the Action Hub requires an application. Each organisation may enter up to two distinct applications.

Applications will be open from 1 July 2022 and will close on 20 July 2022 at midnight – CEST.

Applications submitted by other means than via the application portal or submitted after this deadline will not be accepted.
